Solidified by SLAMXHYPE is pleased to present the “BAILOUT” Group Art Show opening December 6th and December 11th at Continental Gallery in Downtown Los Angeles. Solidified by SLAMXHYPE brings together contemporary artists together for one main purpose – to showcase their art and ideas under one roof. The show’s main theme is based around the oh so familiar term, “Consumerism.” We here at SLAMXHYPE live it and breath it every day and have no doubt that you do, too.
This is the first of what he hope will be many shows produced by us here at SLAMXHYPE and for our first endeavor into this arena, we have assembled a great roster of talent including: Jeff McMillan, Steven Daily, Ekundayo, Jon Dragonette, Michael Leon, Rob Abeyta Jr., Anthony Lister, Kevin Lyons, Andrew Pommier, Misery, andButcher Block who will all be showcasing their paintings and sculptures at “BAILOUT.” We went with this group as we whole-heartedly support these artists on a daily basis at SLAMXHYPE and what better way to demonstrate that support than to put together this group show for people to see and appreciate live and in living color.
We would like to thank our partners at Nike Sportswear (www.nike.com/sportswear), BLENDS (www.blendsus.com), Oakley (www.oakley.com), and Span of Sunset (www.spanofsunset.com) for helping us to achieve our vision.
Most of the artists are expected to attend the opening nights to meet and greet.
Sounds will be provided by Shawn Mortensen, Sean Reveron (Rockers NYC), and Nicky Savage (BLENDS/Carve).
