I love it when I make a brilliant, random discovery. Such a one is a certain Al Kent. Came across him on Emusic and am now addicted to the disco-y, housey sound of his Secret Sounds EP. Kent is apparently a funky Scotsman with a severe penchant for all things disco. He has also founded a musical collective entitled The Million Dollar Orchestra who released an album on BBE last year entitled Better Days. “Come Back Home” is the standout from the Secret Sounds EP– take a listen below, and then check out the video which reveals more about Al Kent and his forthcoming album.
