Thanks Givends is an annual event in Los Angeles that brings together the cream of LA’s music scene to raise money around the holiday  for important community arts programs and individuals in need. Every year two recipients are chosen, one always being The Mar Vista Family Center, which is where LA’s beloved DJ Dusk was a counselor and mentor, and this year Ma Dukes, aka Maureen Yancey, aka J Dilla’s mother has been chosen as the other beneficiary. Both Dj Dusk and J Dilla were voices of change, and an incredible inspiration to countless individuals all across the globe.

The lineup this year includes DJs: Peanut Butter Wolf, DJ Destroyer, Anthony Valadez, Dam Funk, Inka One, Scott K, Tony Watson and many more. There will be live performances from Gina Rene amongst others.
