J Todd is another producer from the Frite Nite camp (home to B. Bravo). He has a wicked way of making synths sound downright sexy, and when he meshes them with his funky, glitchy, satisfying beats, he creates a sound that hits all the right spots.

We’re definitely keeping tabs on Frite Nite – more from them to come…

Sometimes you just hear a track and love it practically from note 1. This is one such track. B. Bravo is my new obsession. He makes some soulful, bumpin’ future soulistic type beats – as if J. Dilla and Prefuse 73 had a musical lovechild. His label, Fritenite describe his sounds as “popping analog synth bass-lines, lush chords and funky clean melodies.”

This track “Midnite” is taken from the soon-to-be digitally released EP Analog Starship which sounds like it will be a must-have. And if I haven’t convinced you, then you should know that Benji B has been showing much love to Mr. Bravo on his Deviations show.
