I know very little about this cat named Amplifya. But evidently he’s a producer and makes electronic hip-hop beats that he describes as “slowed down and chopped up disco samples. the inverse of chipmunk soul?” The Disco Screw EP which he’s offering for free, is more of a beat tape – a collection of short tracks that demonstrate he’s got some skills and fairly broad musical palatte. Would love to hear a good MC or vocalist do some damage to the tracks.
